Kieron Sambrook-Smith, Chief Executive Officer
Joined WTG in July 2010 as Chief Executive Officer. Prior to WTG, Kieron’s experience includes executive management roles at leading technology solutions and services providers, plus many funding, acquisitions and exits in the security and telecoms sectors. Most recently he oversaw the transformation and sale of Boldon James to QinetiQ in 2008 for £20m and he led the £4m Management Buy-In of Clearswift’s Specialist Products business in 2009, now renamed Deep-Secure Ltd. Kieron has overall responsibility for growing the WTG business, ensuring our solutions meet the needs of customers and strengthening WTG’s position as a market leading supplier across the Public Sector.
Tom Willock, Managing Director
Tom joined WTG in February 2007 as Finance and Commercial Director. He was appointed Managing Director in October 2008 and has overall Board responsibility for the successful delivery of customer projects. Prior to joining WTG, Tom had spent 15 years in the telecoms and technology sector in senior financial and commercial roles in both public and private companies. These have included senior roles at Cable & Wireless plc, Nomad Software Limited and O2 plc. Prior to his experience in industry, Tom qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG.
Jonathan Woodward, Chief Technology Officer
Joined WTG in 2010, Jonathan’s experience includes senior technical roles at Securicor Information Systems, SunGard Vivista, where he was Chief Technology Officer of their public sector business and the role of senior manager at Detica, where he was the lead on a number of cutting edge, high profile projects in both Criminal Justice and Defence. Jonathan is responsible for ensuring that WTG remains a key technology leader in the Public Sector space providing solutions that best meet the needs of customers.
